一過性のスマホ失明 なんと、寝ながらスマホを片目で見ていると、一時的な失明状態になることが明らかになりました。 アメリカの医学誌ニューイングランド・ジャーナル・オブ・メディシン（NEJM）に当超された、論文Transient Smartphone “>Blindness”」です。 かなりざっくり言うと、太陽を見たらしばらくよく見えないよね。　スマホでもあんな感じになるよ。ってことです。 ブルーライトの悪影響もあるので、寝る前のスマホは辞めた方が良いといいますが、さらに左右の目に悪影響もあるので特に気をつけましょう。 一時的に失明する理由 かんたんに言ってしまえば、目は光を網膜に伝えることによって、映像を脳に映しています。　その映像を私たちは見えていると認識しているわけです。 まぶしい光を見たら、目の中になんか残像が残って見えなくなりますよね。　アレだと思えばわかりやすいでしょう。　近くでスマホを見ていると、スマホの明るさの影響を受けてしまいます。 この時に右目だけで見ていると、右目は明るさに会わせて順応しますが、見ていない左目は暗いところ用モードなわけです。　暗い場所でも目が慣れると意外と見えるように、目は明るさに対応るようになっているからですね。 で、右目だけで見ていると、右目だけ光の影響を受けるので、右目だけスマホの明るさに適応します。一時的に右目だけ見えなくなってしまいますよね。 そして問題は、「片目で見ること」です。　これ、そもそも人間て近くの物を両目で見続けるって大変なんですね。　指を目の前に立ててより目をする。そして顔に近づけると、ある地点で指が２本になっちゃうはず。 ２本になる場所は限界地点なだけで、寄り目って重労働なんですね。　で、スマホなんかも実はかなり近いので、気を抜くと片目で見ちゃうんです。　自分では自覚してないことも多いけど、片目だけで見ちゃう。そういうことなんです。 危険なのはドライバー 途中まで書いて、これって別にそのまま寝れば問題ないんじゃね？と気づいてしまったんですが、削除するのももったいないし・・・　と考えたら思いつきました！　これが危険なのはドライバー、運転手です。
